MATTHIEU CORNILLON

In 2010, I stepped away from acting to start raising my two wonderful daughters. Now I’m ready to get back to it.

Press

The Philanthropist (on Broadway)

Matthieu Cornillon, who subbed for Jonathan Cake at the performance reviewed, is superb as Braham, revealing him to be repulsive even when the insecurities and pretenses of his character are stripped away. I was glad to catch him in his Broadway debut.
— Martin Denton, nytheatre.com
The show’s saving grace is the arrival of two promising young performers. [Anna] Madeley’s nuanced turn as the conflicted Celia bodes well for her future on Broadway, and Matthieu Cornillon shines as an arrogant novelist whose Wildean wit hides an insecure ego. Both are actors to watch.
— Ethan Kanfer, Show Business Weekly

Avalon

Top scenes include…an adolescent rebellion by Lancelet (Matthieu Cornillon) against his high-priestess mother, Viviane.
— Gwen Orel, Back Stage
…notable performances include…Matthieu Cornillon as Lancelet, whose erotic tension is the most believable in the play.
— Maggie Cino, nytheatre.com
…a commanding presence and a solid portrayal of the conflict between love and honor which bedevil him.
— Rufus J. Allen, Stage Pages
